HOW TO MEASURE

Measuring for Blinds (Inside Mount)

For a clean, built-in look, blinds are installed inside the window frame. Here’s how to measure:

1. Width:
Measure the inside width of your window at the top, middle, and bottom. Use the smallest measurement.

2. Height:
Measure from the top of the window frame down to the windowsill, at the left, center, and right. Use the largest measurement.

3. Depth:
Check the depth of your window frame — you’ll need at least 3 inches to install most inside-mount blinds.
If your window doesn’t have enough depth, let us know — we’ll find the best solution for your space.

Measuring for Curtains (Floor-to-Ceiling or Extended Length)

Curtains look best when they extend beyond the window, creating a soft and elevated finish. Here’s how to measure:

1. Width:
Measure the total width of your window and add 10 inches to each side (20 inches total). This allows for proper coverage and a more polished look.

2. Height:
For a high-end finish, we recommend measuring from the ceiling to the floor.
If you’re not going for full floor-to-ceiling coverage, start your measurement 10 inches above the window frame and go down to the floor.
